Ferne McCann returned to ITVBe's screens last night as she once again let viewers in for a candid look at her life as a single mum to Sunday Sky.

In last night's episode showed that she is learning to move on from the trauma's and heartbreak she has been through the last few years. Instead, she is putting all her energy into being a hardworking single mum as she tries to balance work and motherhood like many other parents do today.

Ferne also made the decision that she was ready to get back on the dating scene after being papped with "Love Island's Charlie Broke" although he was not her chosen suitor.

But in a sweet home video, Ferne did admit that with Sunday by her side "I don't feel lonely hardly ever anymore."

Fit as Ferne

After having her daughter; Sunday, Ferne has managed to bounce back into shape and wanted to show off that she had "Some sort of abage" as she called it in a new fitness DVD; "Fit As Ferne."

While enjoying her work, Ferne like many single parents struggled with whether or not it was a good idea to send her daughter to nursery two days a week. However, she stood by her decision as the best way to get a good work-life balance for her and Sunday, without having to rely solely on family and friends.

Nursery is not only a good learning environment for baby Sunday, but also for mummy Ferne who hilariously struggled to decipher what the letters "BM" meant when it came to the nursery's app that updates parents on how their child's day is going including; what they eat, when they sleep and nappy changes.

After a few funny suggestions such as; "Brown mess," Ferne headed to Google to discover that it actually meant "Bowel Movement," a revelation that came as no shock to her Mother when Ferne told her the story later in the evening.

Sunday Sky

Ferne went all out for Sunday's first birthday party telling her shocked mother "The cake is gonna be seven or nine tiers." Inspired by her daughter's name the theme of the party was "Up In The Sunday Sky," with hot air balloons to suit the theme on both the cake and on Sunday's outfit.

"To say I've gone over the top is an understatement" Ferne admitted.

However, not every part of the party was child-friendly after her TOWIE bestie Arg, who had learned a new song especially for the day began to sing Bob Marley's "Girl I Wanna Make You Sweat." But laid back Ferne was not to upset telling the camera "Was it appropriate?

No. Did it get the party started? Yes, it did."

Overall the party was a hit with guests including; Gemma Collins. Mario Falcone and Billie Faires. Although Ferne was very aware that Sunday was unlikely to remember the day, she was happy with her choice to throw an extravagant bash. The day was made even better by a milestone for Sunday who said her first word "Happy."
