It's that special time of year where we're all doing our bit for charity to help change lives! It's the time where we see our favourite Celebrities take part in awesome challenges and contribute to the UK's biggest fundraising event, "Children in need."

There will be a touch of sadness this year no doubt, following the heartbreaking death of long-running TV presenter, Terry Wogan but the stars look set to raise as much money they can in his honour.

While Pudsey bear returns to our TV screens this month, we take a look at what surprises are in store for the star-studded show this year.

When is the official show & what time does it start?

The annual fundraising event takes place 18 Novemeber, with the official Television show kicking off at 7pm on BBC One. Following the sad death of Sir Terry Wogan, TV presenter Graham Norton looks set to stand in and continue his legacy as the host. "It is a huge privilege to join the presenting team for the "Children In Need" appeal show." Graham Norton announced. "This year we would love to raise as much money as we possibly can in honour of the late Sir Terry Wogan." he continued.

What is this year's official charity single?

Craig David will be the one in charge of this year's official charity single, following his massive comeback to the music industry.

The man himself is set to release his new single "All We Need" which is taken from his brand new album "Following My Tuition" in aid of the charity.

What can we expect to see from the main show?

Stars including - Peter Andre, Alex Jones and Frankie Bridge will be making an appearance on the show. Presenting duties will be given to Greg James, Ade Adepitan, Tess Daley, Rochelle and Marvin Humes.

Ricky Gervais will be there on stage performing at the event as he sings the new soundtrack from David Brent: "Life On The Road." You can expect to see a live performance from Little Mix as they will also be performing their new single, "Shout Out To My Ex." Doctor Who fans will be in for a real treat as there will be an exclusive Christmas preview for "The Return Of Doctor Mysterio."

As well as sketches and one-off television specials, music will play a huge part during the show as viewers will be treated to a performance from Michael Buble.

Not forgetting the cast of the West End musical, "Aladdin: The Musical."

A special junior edition of "Would I Lie To You" will also be shown throughout the event. It will be hosted by Rob Brydon who will lead comedians and team captains David Mitchell and Lee Mack in the one-off special.

Several Team GB medallists will be making an appearance, swapping the Olympics for the ballroom as they join professional dancers of "Strictly Come Dancing" to perform a glittering show-stopper.
