The Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hai actress Saumya Tandon who plays the role of Anita Bhabhi on the TV show is said to have taken a quick break from her exhausting shooting schedule and flown to the French Riviera to attend Cannes Film festival 2016 which is considered one of the most prestigious film festivals in the world.

The actress who was also seen as Kareena Kapoor Khan’s sister in the hit Bollywood movie Jab We Met is said to have arranged for a leave from the show way in advance. Apart from being a superlative and loved actor, not many know the fact that Saumya is also an entrepreneur with her venture called 108mb which makes Cannes 2016 extremely important for her business development front as well. Her venture is a start-up in which she has personally invested, it helps film enthusiasts watch any movie anywhere anytime they want to and also strives to promote global cinema.
No Cannes red carpet for Saumya Tandon
It is disappointing though that Saumya Tandon won’t be seen on the red carpet for undisclosed reasons.
The festival sure looks like a great opportunity for the actress to network with the global film fraternity and transcend the reach of her talent.
