Bollywood has always been synonymous with entertainment and dazzling beauty. The Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur, hosting the IIFA 2015, has been witnessing extravagant performances by Indian actors.
Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has been living no stone unturned to put up a spectacular show at the Awards night and she will be performing at the IIFA gala despite a leg injury. Sources close to the actress reveal that Jacqueline suffered a leg injury during rehearsals for the show, in Malaysia, but continued with the dance routine. She realised the severity only when the pain increased and she wasn't able to move her foot.
Although the actress initially brushed the pain off as a minor injury, it was only later that she realised that her left leg was sprained.
Jacqueline popped a few anti-inflammatory medicines and pain-killers in order to be fit to perform and was given easier steps by her choreographer, due to her injury, but she insisted on sticking with the more challenging steps. She will be performing the hit numbers from Salman Khan's hit film 'Kick'.
"Jacqueline has been really excited to perform at IIFA, especially since it's being held in Malaysia. Being half Malaysian by origin, Jacqueline has a huge fan following in the country and she doesn't want to disappoint them," informed her spokesperson.
Jacqueline's mother and sister will also be watching her perform live for the first time and she hopes things go well.
Lauren Gottlieb, another talented dancer from Arizona who was recently seen in 'Welcome to Karachi' and will be seen in the popular show ABCD 2, enthralled the audience with her performance at IIFA Rocks.
Lauren is planning to celebrate her birthday at IIFA, on June 8, and her childhood friends, from Arizona, are flying to Malaysia to participate in the celebrations. "This birthday is going to be special for Lauren, as she will be with her friends and celebrate it in Malaysia," said her friends.
Aditi Rao Hydari, who impressed the fans with her performance in 'Murder 3' is not known for being a great dancer but she took to the IIFA stage in order to show her dancing skills. Hrithik Roshan released a book penned by her sister Sunaina Roshan entitled 'To Dad With Love'. The book has been dedicated to their father and acclaimed filmmaker Rakesh Roshan.
