Bollywood actress Huma Qureshi has been widely appreciated for her roles in films such as Gangs of Wasseypur, Dedh Ishqiya, Ek Thi Dayaan and more. She will now be seen in the remake of Hollywood horror thriller Oculus, which will be produced by Ekta Kapoor. The film will be shot in London and the Film's crew will be stationed in the UK capital for about two months. Huma plans to rent a house in a serene residential area of London so as to have some quiet time for herself, after wrapping up the shooting.

The film will feature Huma with her brother Saqib Salim, who was earlier seen in films like Bombay Talkies, which will soon go on the floor.

Huma, a Delhi girl was keen to live in an apartment in London, instead of living in a hotel. The production team is insisting that Huma should stay in the hotel where the entire crew is residing but, the actress is insistent on staying in her own pad where she can have her own time.

Saqib mentioned to a leading daily in India, that he and Huma would be playing on-screen brother-sister, as well. The film is about a brother who spent his childhood in jail, and who develops acrimony towards his sister who led a sheltered and pampered life.

Huma and Saqib have carved a distinct place in Bollywood by making right choices of picking unique characters. Huma has been liked for her distinct looks and unique sense of style.

Not the type to go with the masses, Huma has always maintained her own identity. She defied the Bollywood rules of getting into the skinny frame and has always tried to be original. At the recent IIFA 2015, Huma was the only actress who picked an exquisite saree for the green carpet. While more and more actresses are seen in elegant gowns, saree, the traditional Indian attire, is taking a back seat.

Vidya Balan is the only actress who has an affinity towards hand woven sarees like Kanjivaram and pure silks. Keeping up the trend, Huma was widely applauded for her Indian look at the green carpet. Huma Qureshi is all set to debut in Malayalam. Director Uday Ananthan's upcoming Mammootty-starrer will be her launch pad in the industry.
