Michael was simply too young to die, and the Telegraph reported that he had not been ill, suffering from any secret sickness or malady. According to Police, his death is not being treated as "suspicious" at this time, but under such circumstances, there will be an autopsy. Heart failure has been given as the reason for George's death.

George once said, "stars want to make up for their own weaknesses by being loved by the public." He had his own weaknesses, and his weakness for marijuana caused a rift between him and his friend Elton John for nearly seven years. It was during this time that the one song we all loved, but George did not particularly like, took on some poignancy. This was the "Careless Whisper," with words that could have been written for Elton John if they had but known the future.
