Although the actress initially brushed the pain off as a minor injury, it was only later that she realised that her left leg was sprained.

Jacqueline popped a few anti-inflammatory medicines and pain-killers in order to be fit to perform and was given easier steps by her choreographer, due to her injury, but she insisted on sticking with the more challenging steps. She will be performing the hit numbers from Salman Khan's hit film 'Kick'.

"Jacqueline has been really excited to perform at IIFA, especially since it's being held in Malaysia. Being half Malaysian by origin, Jacqueline has a huge fan following in the country and she doesn't want to disappoint them," informed her spokesperson. Jacqueline's mother and sister will also be watching her perform live for the first time and she hopes things go well.
