It appears Justin Bieber and Tom Cruise have some loose ends to tie up. This going by the special request that the native singer of Canada has addressed to the Hollywood star. Justin's request was posted on Twitter, one of the most used social networks by celebrities.

Bieber challenges Cruise

Justin Bieber at 2:34 a.m. on June 10, 2019 tweeted: "I wanna challenge Tom Cruise to fight in the octagon.

Tom if you dont take this fight your scared and you will never live it down. Who is willing to put on the fight?". The post was tagged to the profile of Dana White, president of the Ultimate Fighting Championship, who was invited to organise the event in question. It's clearly an interesting question, however, so far it hasn't elicited a response from Tom Cruise, or his people.

For some background to this story, Justin Bieber is an MMA fan, but he hasn't had any professional experience (at least according to local press reports). At the same time, Tom Cruise (56) is known for almost never having used stuntmen to shoot dangerous scenes in his films, which suggests that the star has a very brave personality and going by his movies is super fit for his age.

The Twitter response to the provocation came immediately from many of Bieber's fans around the world. Some, in turn, challenged him, while others invited him to think about more serious topics, namely those concerning the release of the new album (a few rumours are circulating about new music productions).

Conor McGregor's Twitter reaction

Among the various fans who took part in the debate, there was also the famous fighter Conor McGregor, who is ranked #3 in the official UFC lightweight rankings. McGregor replied to Justin Bieber with his own tweet: "If Tom Cruise is man enough to accept this challenge, McGregor Sports and Entertainment will host the bout. Does Cruise have the sprouts to fight, like he does in the movies?

Stay tuned to find out!".

Within a few hours, the topic became viral, reaching trending status with thousands of users who responded to the star's Twitter post with the odd request. Conor McGregor's reply also received thousands of comments. All that remains is to wait for further developments, which could take place entirely on social media, not in the ring. So far neither Bieber or Cruise has published any more thoughts. The comments from fans continue to flood in, the post of Justin Bieber has about 130,000 likes and growing.
