It looks like a lot is about to happen in the upcoming “NCIS” season 15 episode 23, “Fallout.” After Abby Sciuto’s exit, things are about to change at the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS). In the penultimate episode, Jimmy Palmer (Brian Dietzen) is about to have a major storyline that will surely surprise the fans.

A different kind of Palmer

In an exclusive photo obtained by TVLine, it showed Jimmy Palmer playing an undercover role in a major undercover mission. Here, he can be seen as a golfer – complete with a golf player’s outfit from cap to shoes that everyone would think he is a professional.

Not only that, he also has a caddy behind him, who is Nicholas Torres (Wilmer Valderrama). Just like Jimmy Palmer, Torres is pretending to be somebody else to complete their mission in “NCIS” season 15 episode 23. After Abby’s exit, it looks like “Fallout” is going to be fun as Torres will play as Palmer’s caddy. It has been known Torres always wants to be in control, but this time, he will be just carrying Palmer’s bag and club.

Penultimate episode’s events

CarterMatt revealed the official synopsis of the upcoming “NCIS” season 15 episode 23, “Fallout.” Here, Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) will be attending a memorial service for a friend. This pal is said to be lost at the sea. However, he will then discover that the deceased, who is Navy Captain Phillip Brooks (Don Lake), is not really dead, but hiding in a fallout shelter.

What really happened to Brooks was his boat was attacked. Fortunately, he made it alive as he swam to the shore. In this penultimate episode, fans are about to see the guest stars Susan Walters as Marcy Brooks, the commander’s wife.

Previous episode recap

In the previous episode, “Two Steps Back,” fans saw the tear-jerking goodbye of Abby.

Fortunately, she was not the one who was inside the bag, but, sadly, it was Clayton Reeves (Duane Henry). Episode 22 also showed the return of the NCIS veteran Donald “Ducky” Mallard (David McCallum) in “NCIS” season 15.

Ducky worked with Reeve’s body and he found out there were two different blood samples on the latter’s shirt.

One of the samples was Reeve’s blood while the other was from a guy named Kent Marshall. It turned out Abby and Reeves were not really mugged, but this guy, who was discharged from the army, was a hitman that was targeted to kill Abby.

Unfortunately, the hitman was also found dead, but they later knew the guy behind this was Robert King (Peter Jason). Abby tracked him down and successfully found him. As she felt like Reeves saved her life, she bid goodbye to everyone to bring his body back to London to bury him next to his mother.
