Kylie Jenner, the 19-year-old of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, is set to take the entertainment world by storm and establish herself as a household name separately from her famous family by agreeing to star in her own reality show titled Life of Kylie. At her tender age, though, she is the second most successful member of her family, surpassing all the other family members but Kim Kardashian, 36, her superstar older sister, whose sex tape with Ray J from 2007 catapulted her into superstardom, paving the way to reality TV for her family.

Kylie, the second most successful family member
According to Forbes, Kylie is the second highest paid reality TV star, with an income of 18 million $ in 2016 alone, which includes fees from her family's reality show, endorsement ventures and, most notably, from her beauty empire she launched last year, Kylie Cosmetics, which includes a variety of make-up products, from colorful matte lipsticks to eyeshadows, blushes or face highlighters.
A business-orientated teen
Although she is famous for her transformation, from a regular awkward teen to a sexy vixen with big lips and beautiful curves, she seems to be smart beyond her age, when it comes to business decisions, or very well advised, at least.
Not many people can pride themselves with the fact that, at the tender age of only 19, is the owner of an extremely successful cosmetics company or that it has designed and profited from collaborations with sporting goods and apparel giant Puma or big fashion retailer Topshop.
Big number of family members, bigger number of problems
But, with parents like Olympic gold-winning medalist Bruce Jenner, now Caitlyn Jenner, who famously underwent gender-reassignment surgery, and Kris Jenner, the business-savvy matriarch of the Kardashian-Jenner clan, there is no denying that winning runs in the family. Nonetheless, the megastar family had their ups and downs along the years, with the death from cancer of patriarch Robert Kardashian, father of Kourtney, Kim, Khloe and Rob, the separation between Kris and Caitlyn and the subsequent scandals related to the breakup to Kim’s 2016 Paris robbery and the difficult times with her husband Kanye West that came after, Khloe’s much mediatized divorce from trouble-riddled basketball player Lamar Odom and Rob’s health problems and his relationship with Blac Chyna, an exotic dancer who gave birth to Rob’s daughter, 5 month-old Dream but who also has a 4 year-old son with Kylie’s on-and-off love interest, Tyga, from which Kylie split recently before the announcement of her new reality show. Pretty complicated, isn't it? Hopefully, Life of Kylie will be as good Television as Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
