Adele surprised her fans as she dressed up as her favourite singer and idol George Michael. She looked completely unrecognizable as she dressed up as a man, with hair puffed up, aviator shades, facial hair and all closely resembled George Michael. The leather jacket which was a must have on 80s singer George Michael's shoulder, was intact and completed her look.
The picture posted on twitter sent her fans in frenzy, as they could not have enough of her.
The fans kept guessing if the Skyfall singer spent the night partying in the George Michael makeover. Adele's admiration for George Michael is well known as she has confirmed of the former Wham! band member was her source of inspiration. Adele received the BRIT award for Best British Female Solo Artist and British Album of the Year for her second album 21 by George Michael. The amazing makeover of Adele was lauded on Twitter as most of them loved her ability to experiment with her looks. The birthday wishes poured from all corners and Adele posted on Twitter. "Thank you for the birthday wishes, I had a wonderful time! I was my hero x. #gottahavefaith," tweeted Adele. Michael's famous number played on her lips, it seems.
Music lovers hoped for an announcement from Adele regarding her next album, but she chose to treat them with a George Michael style picture instead. Most of those who have followed Adele's music were deeply disappointed that the singer hasn't really come up with a brand new album. She had previously hinted that she is slowing up a bit to work on her new album, which might be called 25.
Known to be a fiercely private person, British singer and songwriter Adele rarely appears on social networking sites. Playing a full-time mom, Adele is concentrating on bringing up her son Angelo and is also reportedly working on her next album.
