If you think Christmas happens earlier every year, you are probably right. The pressure to buy the best gift for that family member or friend is already beginning. Not only that, a new TV channel is being launched today which will air only Christmas films and nothing else, 24/7 from now until January.
Get your remotes to the ready, relax on the couch and start watching every festive film ever made on True Christmas. According to a poll last year, the 1946 Film “It’s a Wonderful Life” is still the firm favourite with most families both in the UK and the USA, but there are many more excellent yuletide films to be seen.
Christmas countdown with special new channel
The Manchester Evening News reports that the new Christmas feast has been dubbed True Christmas and starts on 24 September on Freesat 302, Sky channel 321, Freeview 74 and Virgin 424, giving everyone a chance to soak up the Christmas spirit.
Besides the perennial favourite “It’s a Wonderful Life,” there are other classic films to be aired, including the 2004 fantasy/comedy film “Single Santa Seeks Mrs Claus.” “Beverly Hills Christmas” from 2015 is another popular choice available in the listings while the 2002 film “Santa Jr.” is another possible choice.

There’s also the 1991 comedy/drama film, “All I Want for Christmas.” How about the 1997 film, “Borrowed Hearts” for those with a romantic inclination?
The 2000 fantasy film “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” is always good for a chuckle too and many of us.can identify with the anti-yuletide character.

Find your new favourite Christmas film
With the new TV channel running from now until January, you have plenty of time to make your decision regarding what to watch next and get truly into the spirit of giving.
You might even find a new favourite Christmas film to keep as your future staple fare, including those that are actually so darn bad, you love to watch them.

As reported by Birmingham Live, True Christmas isn’t actually a brand new thing and has been broadcasting over the last several Christmas periods.
However, it’s pretty certain it hasn’t started so early before. Possibly it started this early to get everyone in the shopping mood early, to spend more and more on their Christmas presents. But don’t get stressed out – try to remember that it’s the thought that counts!
