What a great time to be alive indeed. After 2 years since they’ve released ‘Avengers: Civil War’, they followed it up with the historical ‘Avengers: Infinity War. However, Marvel doesn’t stop there as an intricate part of ‘Avengers 4’ has been released a few hours ago in the name of ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’.
Okay, most of you might still have some hangover after watching what could possibly be, the greatest crossover film that Marvel Studios’ was able to produce. The movie was so monumental it broke several records across the world. Don’t worry because I'm not going to provide any spoiler on what had happened in the movie.
However, be sure to check some highlights that will be provided as this will be bigger than expected.
Marvel's follow up movie
The new movie ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp’ is not a sequel to the 'Avengers: Infinity War’. Basing on the recent production and timeline, it happened before the ‘Infinity War’. How could that be possible? How is it connected to ‘Avengers 4’ then? Let us start with the way Marvel release their films. It is a belief from the motion pictures that a “feel good” film should always follow up after a disheartening and puzzling move. They’ve been doing this for several years and they are sticking with it.
The focus on the new movie is all about the “Quantum Realm”. As advertised, Dr.
Hank Pym was able to create a technology wherein he was able to somehow work particles and atoms in his liking. His project was so great that Hydra created a plan in stealing it. There are a lot of heroes that turned to ashes in the last movie, but it is also believed that they are not really dead. According to a famed YouTuber who is exceptional in providing some insights about Marvel, there’s a possibility that they are all in the soul world.
New Dimension: Soul World
If there’s a character that could go there without being turned into ash, that would be ‘Ant-Man and The Wasp. Their uncanny ability to shrink their size into the smallest particle could provide them a pathway inside the soul world. It really sounds crazy just by thinking about it, but it could happen.
Them being on the “Quantum Realm” could also mean that they are safe with Thanos’ snap.
New and Returning Characters
Also, in the same trailer, Scott Lang was talking to Bill Foster and it seems that the two knew each other for a long time. They were joking about them getting bigger and the limits that they have. For those who are not familiar, Bill Foster is an important character in the comic books. He is also known as Goliath, Black Goliath and Giant-Man. Several characters returning was also seen in that clip. Luis, the funny and very talkative friend (cellmate) of Scott was spotted talking to Dr. Hank Pym in a suit. Yes, he was wearing a suit, which makes the scene a lot funnier. Dave, who was portrayed by Rapper T.I was also noticed in the background while sitting listening to Luis’ crazy antics.
