The frustration level right now is beyond the norm as legions of fans of Rick and Morty are pissed off with the current situation the show is in. There’s no doubt that this masterpiece of Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland will go down in the history books as one of the greatest adult animated TV series ever. The only problem is, some of their fans feel that they are being held hostage.

Epic show but no deal made

This epic show might have released three seasons (for now), but they have a huge fan base. They have the craziest supporters and if you don’t believe us, you can check each and every Rick and Morty group on any social media platform.

Remember the episode where they somehow reintroduced the legendary Szechuan sauce from McDonalds? It caused a lot of chaos where the creators of the show were forced to Tweet and talk to fans about it. There’s even one McDonalds store where they had to call the police to diffuse the fuzz about the Szechuan sauce.

Going back to season 4, it was just the other day when Dan Harmon stated he is still optimistic about the show, but there’s still a lot of things that need to be ironed out. Adult Swim is still quiet about these negotiations and it is killing the fans. There are multiple suggestions from fans that the showrunners can absolutely use. However, knowing Adult Swim and the way they work, they will keep everything in their realm.

Some fans suggest that maybe, just maybe, they are going to pull out a hat trick.

They did it before and it works perfectly. Probably, they need more time as insiders suggest. Due to the overwhelming support and money that they were able to generate for the past three seasons, producing season 4 should not be taken lightly.

Following up a historic season is a hard act to follow. Only a couple of TV Series was able to do it and Better Call Saul is one of them.

Stop the fake news

So yes, regarding the release date that is all over the internet right now, it’s all fake news. As much as they hate Harmon’s instant trolling in his social media account, they have to trust him.

Actually, there’s speculation brewing on the feud that is happening when it comes to the creative writing. Fans believe that Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland have a “problem” and that is why season 4 is still not released. The only thing that these supporters need to do right now is to relax, do what they need to do, rewatch season 1-3, then hope that Adult Swim and Dan Harmon will come up with some welcome news this year.
