Shilpa Shinde who is currently known as the Bhabiji of Indian Television has been facing a lot of trouble post her fall out with the producers of her TV show Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai which airs on & TV.
Shubhangi Atre who has been seen in popular shows like Kasautii Zindagi Ki, Kasturi and very recent Chidiya Ghar will now be playing the most popular character of Angoori Bhabhi on the show. She rose to fame with her title role of Kasturi in the TV show Kasturi.
It is interesting to note that Shubhangi is replacing Shilpa Shinde for the second time, earlier she had replaced her in Chidiya Ghar as Koyal.
It is reported that the producer of the show Benaifer Kohli has finalized on Shubhangi and has truly replaced Angoori Bhabhi.
The entire issue of Shilpa Shinde’s fight with the producers and makers of the show had come into the limelight when Shilpa stopped shooting for the show abruptly as news reports claimed. Shilpa had become synonym with the character Angoori Bhabhi and her character’s signature dialogue “Sahi pakde hain” had become everyone’s favorite instantly but the fall out has resulted in a replacement.
It is to be noted that for many episodes now since Shilpa Shinde was not shooting, the character of Angoori Bhabhi had disappeared from the show and the fans had already started missing her.
Due to the personal problems of the actress with the Producers, CINTAA (Cine and TV Artistes Association) has already issued a non-cooperation directive against her. A similar directive has also been issued by Indian Film and TV Producers Council (IFTPC) against Shilpa Shinde.
For now it looks like the viewers are ready to experience a new style of Angoori Bhabhi portrayed by Shubhangi Atre while Shilpa Shinde who originally played the character fights with her personal and professional issues with the industry organizations and producers alike. Shubhangi Atre is slated to start shooting for the show in the next few days.
We will have to wait and watch on how the ardent fans of Bhabhi Ji Ghar Par Hai react to this new change.
