This seems like bad news for Katrina Kaif fans. The Bollywood actress who is not a part of a lot of movies currently seems to be losing out on endorsements as well. Kriti Shanon who made her Bollywood debut opposite Tiger Shroff in Heropanti has gained from Katrina’s loss as per online reports.
Katrina Kaif’s loss is Kriti’s gain?
A popular clothing brand which had Katrina Kaif as their brand ambassador has rumored to have replaced her with Kriti Shanon as they wanted a young face representing them. The brand in question has apparently not renewed its contract with Katrina and thus the reports of them replacing her have started to pour in and how.
Rumors also suggest that not only has Kriti replaced Katrina but she has also been paid the same amount as Katrina for being the face of the brand.
Katrina has only two movies in her kitty
2016 doesn’t look like Katrina Kaif’s year as it began with her most infamous break-up of the year with Bollywood superstar Ranbir Kapoor. The only two releases Katrina fans currently have to wait for are Jagga Jasoos which has been in the making for the longest and Baar Baar Dekho where she starts opposite Siddharth Malhotra for the first time.
Varun Dhawan retained as the brand ambassador
It is interesting that the clothing brand in question has not replaced their male brand ambassador who endorses their male clothing line i.e.
Varun Dhawan. Varun Dhawan has been retained with contract renewal already in progress. The brand is soon expected to make an official announcement of their female brand ambassador which will clear the air.While Katrina is finishing off the final leg of Jagga Jasoos and Baar Baar Dekho, Kriti Shanon is busy shooting for her next Bollywood movie titled Rabta where she stars opposite Shushant Singh Rajput.
Well looks like we will have to wait till the brand does a formal announcement about their brand ambassadors to confirm the reports. Till then all we can do is hope that Katrina is retained and continues to entertain us.
