Cape Town is all geared up for a fantastic New Year celebration. The beautiful city at the southern tip of Africa is getting ready to party hard.
The V&A Water Front
The waterfront is a must do event that is held every year. It has a fantastic carnival air with open-air performances, great restaurants, live Music, fancy floats and thousands of revelers. No entry fees make this a popular destination.
The waterfront is right on the historic cape harbor, so if you love the sea, the party, and the atmosphere this is the place to be on 1 December 1025.
Psychedelic Rezonance NYE Festival
The biggest Trance Party in Southern Africa is ready to rave over a four-day period on the Contermanskloof Farm in Durbanville. There are going to be four dance arenas and a huge range of chill, trance and drumbeat style music. You can expect to have a whole lot of four-day fun, partying in the rain, the mud and under the stars. Like Woodstock, if you need to sleep find a patch of grass and go down.
Twelve Apostles Hotel & Spa
James Bond is swinging into town this year. The theme of this year is to remember the great Bond series. Of course, you will have to be “dressed to kill” for the night. There is going to be a five-course dinner to die for, live music and the traditional countdown for 2016.
If you don’t have a deep enough pocket for the R2500 tickets, then make your way to V&A
New Year’s Eve Concert at Kirstenbosch for the laid back
The concert at Kirstenbosch is the type of place where frenzied excitement will be a little out of place. It is popular with the quieter set. Celebrants are encouraged to take their own picnics, blankets, chairs, and champers.
Music will be of the modern folk and ska-blend funk type.
Mediterranean party at the Grand Café & Beach Bar
Spain comes to Cape Town this year with a Pacha Ibiza Party in Granger Bay. The Grand Café and beach Bar is always popular, so expect to see the Cape socialites swarming. There are two types of tickets available; the just party price and the sit-down, feast and party price. Some of the famous Pacha Ibiza dancers will be there and the DJs will rock you all the way to the countdown and beyond.
