Scorchers and Strikers face each other on the Christmas day
Perth Scorchers will be under some pressure after losing their first two games.
Even though their bowling seems strong, the batting unit hasn't lived up to its expectations. Scorchers regular captain Mitchell Marsh might miss this game due to national duty, hence Ashton Turner will be leading the side. The home advantage will give some confidence for bouncing back in the competition.
Defending champions Adelaide Strikers faced a shocking defeat in the previous game against Renegades at home.
On the trip to Perth, they would look to make a comeback with an away win.

On a fast pitch, bowlers like Billy Stanlake and Micheal Neser will hold the key for the Strikers.
Travis Head continues to miss out as he is with the Australian side so the responsibility of captaincy will be on Colin Ingram once again.
Fresh from the first Test at the venue, the Perth pitch is likely to assist the pacers with the new ball. The sunny weather will make the pitch hard but batting shouldn't be much of a problem once new ball is done away with.
