Laura Anderson and Paul Knops have become the third "Love Island" couple to split since the show's finale. The news was confirmed by Anderson in an interview with Ok! Magazine. Laura explained the reasons for the spilt, just two months after the "Love Island" finale. The couple came in second place, only losing out to fan favourites Jack and Dani.

Ok! Magazine wrote, "Laura decided to completely cut ties with the 31-year-old following their split, by unfollowing him on social media and deleting photos of the pair – explaining that she doesn’t want to see what he’s up to after ending their relationship."

Before falling for Paul, Laura was in a relationship with two other Islanders. First came Wes, who she coupled with from day one, but ultimately split from after his current number, Megan decided that she was interested in the Nuclear Engineer.

After Wes, Laura fell for Jack, but it was short lived when Jack chose new girl Laura, to re-couple with.

Rumours confirmed

Laura told Ok! Magazine "I was hoping that when he came back we’d spend more time together and build a proper relationship out of the villa. It didn’t happen." The couple spent time together after the show for work-related reasons, but then Paul left for a three-week trip to the Burning Man Festival in America.

The Evening Standard wrote how "The couple were hit with multiple split rumours after leaving "Love Island." Fans grew concerned it was over after they were pictured rowing outside The Cuckoo Club in Mayfair, London. It happened in the early hours before they left in separate cars."

Laura and Paul were the only two Islanders that left the show and never publicly confirmed their relationship status.

The Evening Standard wrote, "Anderson and Knops met on this summer’s series of the ITV2 hit, but refused to label themselves as ‘official’."

Throughout in her time in the Villa, Laura, 29 was looking for a future husband and father but struggled to find a man that wanted to commit to that. But older man Paul, 31, caught her eye after he entered the villa and Laura's dreams for her future became more of a reality.

Three couples split

The Evening Standard also confirmed the break-up of two other "Love Island" couples. "Anderson and Knops are the latest duo from this year’s series to split after Samira Mighty and Frankie Bridge called it quits weeks before Jack Fowler and Laura Crane announced they have parted ways."

Laura Crane spoke out her split from Jack Fowler.

Ok! Magazine quoted Laura as saying, "Sadly Jack and I have both decided to go our separate ways due to such busy schedules right now and not having the time to spend together," in her interview with Metro.
