Hindi movie "Ekta” was released across the world on July 13, 2018. It has been touted as a romantic-suspense thriller with Robin Sohi, Salil Ankola and Navneet Kaur as lead actors and the flick are helmed by Suman Reddy. It is a bilingual Film and is made simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu languages.

The Music is composed by Daboo Malik, and the songs are sung by Arman Mallik. The father and son duo will be collaborating for the first time.

The film is being produced by Bikshamaiah Sangam and Suman Reddy under the banner of BS Productions and Virat Cinemas.

The film was filmed in locations around Allepey, Hyderabad, and Mumbai. The flick has Navneet Kaur in the lead role, and she represented India at the Miss World 2013 beauty pageant.

The plot:

The plot of the flick is simple, Ekta a simple girl from Alleppey, Kerala who is on a holiday when she meets her future soul mate, Rahul. Love blossoms and the couple tie the knot hoping for a great future when tragedy strikes. The couple realizes that there are murders around them and they keep happening.

As the investigators try to get to the bottom of the case, they detain the couple and ask them not to leave the city until the case is solved.

While still "Sanju" starring Ranbir Kapoor doing well at the box-office and John Abrahams "Parmanu" entering the 50th day, not much can be expected from "Ekta" which has no A-listers in its cast.
