The fan site, Watchers on the Wall, revealed a lot of “Game of Thrones” season 8 stars arrived in the city of Seville in Spain, but one important star seems to be missing. The series' major characters from Jon Snow (Kit Harington) to Cersei (Lena Headey), are said to be back at the Dragonpit at King’s Landing, but they won’t be with Daenerys (Emilia Clarke). Does this mean that the mother of dragons will meet her demise, so she didn’t make it with them?

Clarke missing from the cast list

Dragonpit is the place the Targaryens used to hide their dragons.

So, as the mother of dragons, it is a big surprise Daenerys is not there. This is also the place where she, along with Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), and Jon Snow tried to form a truce with Cersei so they could take down the White Walkers together. So, why is Dany not there?

According to Bustle, some of the major “Game of Thrones” season 8 stars like Headey, Dinklage, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime), Sophie Turner (Sansa), Maisie Williams (Arya), and Isaac Hempstead-Wright (Bran) were all seen in Seville to play their respective characters. Also spotted in the city of Spain are Liam Cunningham (Davos), Gwendoline Christie (Brienne of Tarth), John Bradley (Sam), Joe Dempsie (Gendry), Conleth Hill (Varys), Iain Glen (Jorah Mormont), Gemma Whelan (Yara Greyjoy), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), and Vladimir Furdik (Night King).

Surprisingly, two of the Faceless Men, Jaqen H’ghar (Tom Wlaschiha) and the Waif (Faye Marsay) are also there. However, there are theories that their faces are being used by somebody else. Is it Arya?

Possible reasons Dany didn’t make it to the big event

With the long list of the new season’s stars, Clarke is not seen. Watchers on the Wall reported that as this scene involved almost every important character, it would definitely be a big reveal at a later episode.

So, the only reason fans see that Daenerys didn’t make it there, is because she is already dead. But, there are also theories that she might already be pregnant, carrying Jon Snow’s baby and that’s why she didn’t make it to the “Game of Thrones” season 8 big event.

In reality, Clarke is still promoting her new movie, “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” so it might be a valid reason she is not yet in Seville.

There are even assumptions that she will indeed, be in this big scene, but it might be filmed on a green screen as she may be with her dragons. As this season’s finale’ final episode is also reported to be set in Spain, Clarke still has a lot of time to fly to the country.

Whatever might happen with this big reveal, fans will surely find out in the “Game of Thrones” season 8 release in 2019 on HBO.
