South Indian superstar Rajinikanth fell and injured his knee while shooting for his upcoming mega-budget multilingual movie "2.0" in Chennai on Saturday at around 8:40 p.m. He was immediately taken to a private hospital. The good news is, the injury said to be a minor one. The doctors put a plaster on his knee and sent the 65-year-old actor home.
As his fans all around the globe are now awaiting the release of "2.0", the much-anticipated sequel to "Robot". The first look posters of the movie were released a week back, and it is receiving positive responses from all corners.
'2.0' is the most expensive Indian movie
This movie is being made with a huge budget of Rs 350 Crores, and now, as per latest updates, it has been learned that the budget of the film has been raised to 400 Crore, which makes it the costliest Asian film which has been ever made.
Raju Murugan, the creative head of this movie too confirmed this news, and he told that the budget had been raised to make the computer graphics works as impeccable as possible. Raju also added that the film's VFX would be of Hollywood standards, and it will be an awesome experience for Indian movie lovers.
This big budget film is being directed by Shankar who has previously made acclaimed films like "Muthalvan," "Enthiran," "Indian" and "I." The makers are planning to release "2.0" in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, English, Japanese, and Chinese languages simultaneously.
