A new box-office star is rising in the South Indian film industry, and it is none other than Vijay Antony, who is literally breaking box-office records with his new Tamil movie "Saithan" which was released on December 01, 2016.
Box-office collections:
The film directed by Pradeep Krishnamoorthy has impressed critics and the audiences alike, and on the first day, it has grossed more than Rs 2 crores from the Tamil Nadu state alone.
The Telugu version of the movie "Bethaludu" also collected more than Rs 1.8 Crores from the Andhra/Telangana region.
Vijay Antony who has a decent fan following in Kerala has collected nearly Rs 28 lakhs from the theaters on its first day.
As per latest updates, this film has grossed more than 11 Crores after three days of its release.
'Saithan' released a day before in the US
The film was released in the US on Wednesday. On the night's premiere, the Telugu version of the movie collected nearly $ 3200, while the Tamil version of the film has collected $ 1560 (Both approximate figures).

From then, he starts searching for the identity of Jayalakshmi, and soon he realizes that he has a pre-birth life which was quite happening.
The plot
The movie belongs to the genre of psycho thriller, and the director has succeeded in crafting the film in such an engaging manner. In most of the moments, the audiences will be compelled to seat in their edge of the theater seats, and the filmmaker has included some unexpected twists and turns, as the movie nears completion.
