India's popular TV award show Star Parivar Awards, which enters its 15th year, took inspiration from internationally acclaimed award functions. Golden Globe Awards this year saw the first-ever red carpet drone, which gave a technical spin to the glamorous evening. The drone was meant to capture innovative angles of the Hollywood Celebrities dressed like a dream to be on the spotlight at the red carpet. The drone had not only captured the celebrities, but, was the most talked about object of the evening.

Similar kind of excitement was seen at the Star Parivar Awards 2015 when a drone fixed with the camera was seen at the award functions in Mumbai.

Since Star Entertainment channel completed 15 years this year, no stones were left unturned in the celebrations.

The drone was installed so as to not miss out on any fun-filled moment of the evening. Since this was the first Indian award ceremony where the use of a special drone was made to capture the images, the drone, naturally, was the centre of attraction and most TV stars instead of talking to the media were seen looking at it.

One such celebrity was popular TV actor Rithwik Dhanjani, the host of this season's Nach Baliye 7 who tripped over the drone. It happened when Rithwik, accompanied by girlfriend Asha Negi, were busy chatting with the media people. In the excitement, he did not realize that the drone was hovering on the top and was trying to capture his interaction with the media.

He stumbled and tripped at the red carpet as a result. Girlfriend Asha was the first was to call for help but the jovial Rithwik was sporting enough to get up and start walking.

Asha-Rithwik have been a popular TV pair and were the best dancing pair in the last season Nach Baliye, which was won by the two. Asha, the girl from Uttarakhand, had earlier appeared in hit serials like Pavitra Rishta and was also the anchor of Indian Idol Junior 2.

Both Asha and Rithwik gave a splendid performance at the awards night.

Star Channel was the pioneer entertainment channel which brought a revolution to the TV world with its shows. It started with Kaun Banega Crorepati and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi.
