Can Joe Biden save the day by running against Donald Trump in the 2020 US Presidential election? He’s not ruling it out. Let’s hope it happens. The lovable, level-headed former Vice President to Barack Obama gave an interview on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” recently to talk about last year’s election. He’s clearly annoyed that the Democrats lost and Hillary Clinton isn’t President of the United States.

Biden said that Trump’s failures will hopefully enter the history books as “the single exception in American history.” Every other President has at least known how to be a President, for better or worse.

He added that if it wasn’t for those measly 70,000 or so votes that swung the election to the right-hand side, “we’d have a good President... who understands the role of the Presidency.” He’s not wrong. Say what you will about Hillary Clinton, at least she’s a politician – not a billionaire f*cking TV personality.

Charlottesville was the turning point for Biden

Biden said during the interview with the very anti-Trump political satirist Stephen Colbert that he was originally ready to give Trump a chance to prove his assumptions wrong. However, a turning point for the ex-Vice President was when the riots in Charlottesville broke out an anti-slavery protestors were being killed by Nazis, and Trump refuses to condemn the Nazis. Biden called this “reprehensible.”
