It’s too late for anyone to do anything about it, but all the dark secrets about US President Donald Trump’s Election Campaign from last year keep pouring out. The theories and allegations of a collusion with the Russian government have almost been proven to be true, after various Trump staffers have admitted to crimes when being questioned by the FBI during Robert Mueller’s probe into the matter, and it’s only a matter of time before the rest comes pouring out.

And then you’ve got Donald Trump, Jr., the President’s son, who travelled all the way to Russia during the election campaign to meet with a Russian lawyer who had ties to the Kremlin with the aim of gathering “dirt” against his father’s rival, Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton, that he could use against her in the election.

And now, it’s been revealed that this dingus Trump, Jr. also had direct contact with WikiLeaks in the weeks leading up to the election that put his father in the powerful position in the entire world.

Trump, Jr. communicated with WikiLeaks’ Twitter account

New information reveals that Trump, Jr. was sending direct messages back and forth with the Twitter account of WikiLeaks – the lawless website that seeks to make all information public and keep nothing secret, kind of like a larger-scale Edward Snowden – in the final weeks of his father’s Presidential election campaign. Ironically, this information about Trump, Jr. and the infamous leak website was revealed through a leak, so the boot is firmly back on the other foot.

Some would argue it’s a boot that’s better on WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange’s foot – who’s to say? It’s just ironic, that’s all.

The US Presidential election takes place every four years in November. Last November, Donald Trump won. And throughout last September and October, Trump, Jr. was talking to WikiLeaks in a series of private direct messages through Twitter.

Investigators within Congress are taking a look through printed copies of the messages, passed onto them by Trump, Jr.’s crack team of lawyers. And then the Atlantic magazine got a hold of them and published them for the world to see.

Right as WikiLeaks were releasing all of those DNC emails that likely cost Clinton the election (a leak that may or may not have involved the Russian government), and Election Day was just a few weeks away, Trump, Jr.

began chatting online with the guys who make private information and government secrets public. Two days after the older Trump said, “I love WikiLeaks!” at a campaign rally, @WikiLeaks messaged Trump, Jr. to say, “Hey Donald, great to see you and your dad talking about our publications.”

@WikiLeaks also got Trump, Jr. to tweet about their wlsearch.tk search engine

@WikiLeaks also sent Trump, Jr. a link that they “strongly suggest[ed]” Trump, Sr. should tweet out to his followers if he really did “love” them. The organisation also told the President’s son that there are “many great stories the press are missing” that Trump, Jr. and his dad’s followers could “find” if they tweeted them. The link was to a search engine that can be found at wlsearch.tk.

It’s where you can search around all the leaked DNC emails, including those of John Podesta, the chairman of Hillary Clinton’s failed Presidential election campaign.

Trump, Jr. later did tweet the link, touting that it was “for those who have the time to read about all the corruption and hypocrisy” going on within the Democratic Party. Take a look in the mirror, younger Donald. And older Donald. Assange, however, has contested the DMs published by the Atlantic and accused the magazine of doctoring what got released, saying that the “full text” is “a different reading, unsurprisingly.”
