Not everyone wants their family constantly in the limelight, and Peter Dinklage of “game of thrones” fame is no exception. He has notoriously always kept details of his family and their private life secret. However, one photographer got lucky in New York on Friday, when they spotted Dinklage with his young daughter, exploring the city on a scooter and obviously having a lot of fun.

Doting dad

As noted by the Daily Mail, Dinklage, 49, kept his daughter close as they weaved through the streets of New York, with both of them wrapped up warmly against the continuing cold weather in the city.

While not confirmed, the “Game of Thrones” actor’s daughter is believed to have been named Zelig.

She certainly looked like she was having a wonderful time while exploring New York with her dad. Dinklage married his director wife, Erica Schmidt, in 2005 by eloping to Las Vegas. While their daughter was known to be born in 2011, there was no official announcement of either the marriage or the later birth of his daughter.

Tyrion and his jealousy of Jon Snow

Meanwhile, heading to current news about season 8 of “Game of Thrones,” Peter Dinklage has been talking about the relationship between Tyrion Lannister and Jon Snow.

He confirmed his character is in love with Daenerys Targaryen, which has led to conflicted feelings about Jon Snow, he who is currently romancing Khaleesi the dragon queen.

As reported by Digital Spy, many fans spotted the devastated look on Tyrion’s face in the last season, when he realised Jon and Daenerys were getting together during their boat ride to Winterfell.

However, the fact is now officially confirmed. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Dinklage said the situation in "Game of Thrones" is pretty “complicated,” adding that Tyrion believes he is in love with Daenerys. However, he hasn’t exactly had a good track record when it comes to love and there is definitely a certain amount of jealousy involved.

However, Peter said Tyrion also loves Jon Snow, and they are the two people with which he has the most in common, with both being outsiders in their own families, refusing to follow their family’s path. It’s also a dangerous situation to get into, as passion and politics never do mix well.

Season 8 of ‘Game of Thrones’ coming soon
