The 'Monster Among Men' is unpredictable, to say the least. However, his decision hours ago was a direct response to the Shield when they attacked him last week. Strowman is a physical specimen and loves to do things on his own. The 'Money in the Bank' winner agreed to have a title match in Hell in a Cell pay-per-view but he has to first get rid of Shield members Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.
Strowman did that by aligning himself to McIntyre and Ziggler forming a new stable.
Braun Strowman makes a statement
The new formidable stable, doesn’t have any name yet, but they are arguably the biggest threat to the Shield. Each member of the Shield has past issues with Braun Strowman, McIntyre and especially Dolph Ziggler. According to PWInsider, the initial rumour was for Strowman to reunite with his Wyatt family members. This theory was widely accepted since Rowan is injured and Matt Hardy is taking a step back as he is now working his way to becoming a producer. While some fans are waiting for Bray Wyatt’s entrance music to kick in, they were shocked when Strowman let McIntyre and Ziggler ambush Roman Reigns.
The Raw Heavyweight Champion tried his best to defend himself, but he is outnumbered. Strowman was able to deliver his patented running power slam in which Roman wasn’t able to get up. Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose stormed the squared circle to help Reigns, but it wasn’t enough as the new stable was able to ground them. After punishing all three members of the Shield, Strowman raised McIntyre and Ziggler’s hand, which signifies there’s a new faction to be feared.
The emergence of the new stable
This is just the beginning of an exciting feud between these two awesome stable. Unfortunately, some of the fans aren’t thrilled about this storyline. When Dean Ambrose returned from an injury, it was expected by the WWE Universe for him to turn heel on Seth Rollins.
There were indications that it could happen but we might need to wait a little longer. Also, it was reported by multiple wrestling magazines that Dolph Ziggler hasn’t signed a new contract yet.
Based on the ratings of last Monday Night Raw, the angle between the Shield against the new stable garnered the most views. This is exactly what the WWE wanted and needed. Although the Raw roster is stacked with multiple talents, creating a new stable does make sense. The B-Team is currently the tag team champions, but they are not the best team on Raw. Hopefully, the new stable created by the WWE creative team will last and won’t be a sideshow in the Reigns and Strowman feud.
