The fact that actress Hina Khan has actually quit Star Plus’s family drama “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” is not a secret anymore. While the news for touted as a rumor initially, but the actress herself confirmed the news through various mediums and interviews. As per online reports Hina Khan has shot the her last episode which showcases her death due to a sudden accident. Earlier it was the male lead of the show Karan Mehra who essayed the iconic character of Naitik Singhania on the show who quit the show citing medical reasons. Now that Hina Khan has left and has already shot for her last scene, it will be interesting to see how the makers of the show i.e Director’s Kut Productions headed by Rajan Sahi.
Hina Khan breaks down during an emotional scene on her last day of shoot
Hina Khan had become a household name right from the first episode of the highly popular show “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” on Star Plus over 7 years ago, since them she has been known more by her character name Akshara than her very own. The reason for her exit though is still unclear, reports hint towards a long impending tiff between her and the Producers on various creative aspects of the show which resulted in her walking out of the show. Looks like just like the die-hard fans of the show Hina Khan too was extremely attached to the show and the team which made her emotional on the last day. The fans are heartbroken and it seems like Hina herself was very heartbroken as news reports suggest that she broke down filming a scene on her last day of shoot.
A video on Instagram is even going viral which shows Hina Khan breaking down while filming a scene where she was supposed to play a Sitaar.
The twists continue on the show
While her exit is confirmed, online reports suggest that Akshara’s dead body won’t be immediately shown to her family members which will create a new twist where Akshara will be shown as a missing person. “Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai” airs on Star Plus Monday to Saturday 9.30 pm IST.
