2017 will be a DC-filled year: be prepared for "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League". The movie was announced in October 2014 with Snyder onboard to direct. It's already one of the most anticipated 2017 movie.
DC's new Era is shaping
After "Batman v. Superman" and "Suicide Squad", 2017 will be the year of "Wonder Woman" and "Justice League". The DC's comics cinematic universe has been releasing various new movies in order to pave the way for this thrilling reunion. Marvel has shown us how a special encounter of superheroes like "Avengers" can be a huge box-office hit.
Warner Bros is willing to try to repeat this pop culture phenomenon.
3 Things you need to know about 'Justice League'
if you haven't watched "Batman v. Superman", you won't be able to notice the easter eggs that announced this upcoming much anticipated release. Gal Gadot appeared in "Batman v. Superman" and stole all the data about this group of people with special abilities: The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. "The Perks of being a Wallflower"'s Ezra Miller has already appeared as The Flash in "Suicide Squad", Jason Momoa will debut as Aquaman and Ray Fisher will play the role of Cyborg. Jack Kirby's Steppenwolf will be the main villain. He will hunt down the three Mother Boxes on Earth located in Atlantis, Themyscira and in Cyborg's body.
As we can see in the trailer, the story will follow Batman's attempt to reunite this group of heroes after Superman's death. Zack Snyder will direct once again a DC's movie: critics didn't love plenty of his choices in his latest releases, but the box offic results were on Snyder's side. The movie will include a crowded cast: Jeremy Irons, Jesse Eisenberg and Amy Adams will reprise their "Batman v.
Superman"'s roles as Lex Luthor, Alfred Pennyworth and Lois Lane. New faces will pop up: J.K. Simmons will play James Gordon, Willem Dafoe will portray Nuidis Vulko and Amber Heard will star as Mera.
