Celebrity contestants of Nach Baliye 7 will now have to perfect their act even more as ace choreographer turned filmmaker Farah Khan, might take over as one of the judges of the dance reality show. The latest news suggests that the Happy New Year director and a mother of triplets will soon replace choreographer Marzi Pestonji as the judge, who needs to travel to a foreign country for some prior commitments.
According to reports, Farah Khan who is well known for her knowledge of dance, wit and humour will further elevate the popularity of the show.
Farah had emerged as a great show host of the recently concluded controversial reality show Bigg Boss Halla Bol. Earlier, Farah had taken over from superstar Salman Khan who had to leave the show to finish the last shooting schedule of Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Hosting Bigg Boss 8 was like visiting Disneyland for Farah, who loved to comment on the contestants. Farah is known to be a TV buff and that's the reason that she agreed to be a judge of reality shows. In the past, she has judged shows like Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.
Refusing to declare her personal favourites on the show, Farah admitted to watching the dance reality show on and off. Farah will reportedly be seen as the judge, for a short while, but her presence will surely further increase the popularity.
Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, the producer of Nach Baliye has ensured to keep the audience interest intact by introducing new twists and turns. Farah's comments are known to be sharp and witty, thus, it will add to the entertainment-quotient of the show which is heading towards its finale.
Judge shuffling is getting sufficient attention as Preity Zinta too was replaced by choreographer turned filmmaker Remo D Souza who will be judging and also promoting his upcoming dance Film ABCD 2.
Farah's latest directorial, Happy New Year starring Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, was one of the biggest hits in recent times. Soon after the success of the film, Farah was seen as the host of Halla Bol where the new set of contestants made an interesting watch for the audience.
Keeping in mind the success of her film, Farah is in no mood to settle down for any other actors in her next directorial. She is in talks with Shah Rukh Khan, who is most likely to be seen in her next film that is rumoured to be a small-budget film.
