If you are running out of mince pies, wine or other festive necessities over the Christmas period, here is a list of opening times for six of your favourite supermarkets.
The supermarkets concerned are Aldi, Asda, M&S, Morrisons, Sainsbury's and Tesco and their opening times are listed below, right up until sanity once again prevails in the New Year! If in doubt, check with your local branch to confirm their opening hours. Oh, and Merry Christmas and a happy shopping New Year!
Aldi Christmas opening hours
Aldi is open on Christmas Eve from 8 AM-6 PM and closed on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Open again from Thursday 27 December to Saturday 29 December from 8 AM-10 PM. On Sunday 30 December, the supermarkets are open from 10 AM-4 PM. New Year’s Eve openings are from 8 AM-6 PM. Closed on New Year’s Day, but open again from Wednesday, 2 January, from 8 AM-10 PM.
Asda festive opening times
Asda will be open from 6 AM-7 PM on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day. Boxing Day on the 26th sees Aldi open from 9 AM-6 PM. Thursday 27 December to Sunday 30 December the supermarkets are open from 8 AM-10 PM. New Year’s Eve sees Asda open from 8 AM-7 PM. Asda is open on New Year’s Day from 12 PM-6 PM. 2 January sees the supermarkets returning to normal 8 AM-10 PM opening times.
