Top video website YouTube is doing its utmost to compete with Netflix, Amazon Prime and other streaming services.
While most of these are currently only available under premium programming, some do offer free episodes. Variety recently reported that this will change next year, as YouTube is trying to meet growing demands from a global fanbase. They are planning on moving onto an ad-supported platform, allowing people to watch for free.
The following are seven offerings from YouTube Originals, which are available to watch right now. These include the continuing story of the "Karate Kid" saga, a highly competitive dance school, a documentary about stray cats in Istanbul, Turkey, two guys in a buddy system, a crazy dude that does everything that scares him, a girl who reaches the top only to find competition there and a human version of the Grinch.
