Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt’s next movie withShandaaris one the most awaitedBollywoodfilms of 2015. The movie’s first look was recently released and it looks cute and has a feel of young age romance to it. The first look features only Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in a romantic pose where Alia Bhatt is seen kissing Shahid’s cheek, who has a sweet smile and looking handsome while an airplane in the background makes a heart sign. All said and done, the caption which says 'and they wake up tomorrow' is dreamy and romantic.
Shandaar is being produced by ace producer Karan Johar and the first look was revealed by him through his official Twitter handle and it wasn’t long before the first look was trending on Twitter.
A day just before he shared the official poster, Karan Johar shared a teaser of the movie which showed Alia and Shahid sleeping together in a cute pose while holding hands. Shandaar was directed byQueenfame Vikas Bahl and the theme of the movie is based on a destination wedding where these sweethearts meet and fall in love. The thing most talked about the movie also happens to be the fact that Alia Bhatt will again be seen in a bikini inShandaar, post her bikini debut inStudent of the Year.
The movie is said to be a kind of story about sleep deprived lovers where the lead Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt play the role of insomniacs, who are not able to sleep at night. Well, considering Shahid Kapoor’s late night tweets it is safe to guess that he is an insomniac probably in real life too, but we will have to wait and watch the promotions to know more about Alia’s sleeping schedules.
The first look mentions thetrailerrelease date as 11th August 2015. Alia who was the first one to tweet about the movie also revealed that the movie will release around Dussehra this year. This is not the only film where Shahid and Alia are working together; they are also cast opposite each other in Abhishek Chaubey’sUdta Punjab.
