Its not a party, wedding or dance number but still appeals to youngsters as it is full of romance and expressions. It can relax you anytime.

Song review

This song picks up little late but maintains its good beats later on.

Since the song doesn't contain continuous lyrics and has gap in between, few audience might get bore but this gap was required to justify the story telling part of the song in the video as it is a situation song. Actor Siddharth Malhotra and Parineeti Copra's performance has brought the song alive. Lyricist Amitabh Bhattacharya has penned the song beautifully specially with contrast words like ' khamoshiyon ki sooratin mainsgiondhe tera shor ' Such good music and songs are always expected from Karan Johar and Anurag Kashyap movie.

Commenting on the visuals of the song, audience comes to know that there is sort of break up between Chopra and Malhotra and both are depressed with it.This can be easily understood when we see Chopra weeping on the airport and Malhotra being present as a bridegroom in the wedding, his unhappiness with this marriage is easily reflected on his face and audience get clearer picture of this when they notice the dad of bridegroom who seems to be very stern even during the day of the wedding, indeed it is a forced marriage.Though the bride loves the bridegroom but the latter doesn't and this is more clearly understood when during the song she asks him 'whether he really wants to marry' and this Malhotra gives an honest reply that he loves someone else and runs away from the stage.

On the other hand we see sadness of Chopra in airport where she cannot get rid of thoughts of her and malhotra relationship, though she tries to commit suicide but then she realizes something and returns back to the place where Malhotra was getting married and over there both of them unites again. Overall the movie is average but the song is heart touching and matches exactly with the scene.
