Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE launched in March 2016 is Asus’s Flagship smartphone. MSN has listed this in the list of top 10 smartphones. Zenfone is a series of smartphones by Asus with phones ranging from the Asus ZenFone Go to high-end Asus Zenfone 2 and Asus ZenFone 2 Deluxe. Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE is available in India with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage.

The phone has a full HD 5.00-inch IPS LCD capacitive display with resolution at 720x1280 pixels having a pixel density of 294 PPI. The phone is available in two colors which are Charcoal Black and Pearl White.
The phone weighs around 153 grams. The phone is just 5.4mm thin making it among the thinnest smartphones in the world.

The mobile is powered by 1.2 GHz Quad-Core Qualcomm MSM8916 processor and comes with 2 GB of RAM. The phone runs on Android 4.4 version with custom UI that Asus calls it as ‘Zen UI’. The phone comes with some unique features thanks to the Zen UI such as ZenMotion, SnapView, Trend Micro Security and ZenUI Instant Updates.

The Asus Zenfone Go 5.0 LTE offers a primary camera of 8 megapixels on the rear side of the phone and front camera of 5 MP for selfie shooters. It has storage of 16 GB with expandable memory up to 32 GB using memory card which helps in storing the Full HD 1080p videos recorded on the device.

The mobile has a 2500 mAh Li-Polymer non-removable battery. The phone is equipped with fast charging technology that Asus calls ‘BoostMaster’ that can charge the phone up to 60% in 39 minutes. The phone offers dual SIM facility with one slot being 4G capable and supports micro SIM cards. TTypical sensors include Gyroscope, Proximity, Ambient Light, E-Compass, and G-Sensors which are present in the phone.
Apart from that all the essential Bluetooth 4.0 , Wifi 802.11 a/c NFC, GPS, FM, and Micro USB support are present.
Competition:
At this price range, there are solid alternatives worth considering. Lenovo Vibe K5 Plus includes a better Octacore Snapdragon 616 processor with FullHD display. While on the other hand, there is Coolpad Notepad 3 Lite with Mediatek processor and a 3GB of RAM. Another alternative albeit a slightly older is the Redmi Prime 2.
