To celebrate the 20th anniversary of its signature frozen beverage, and arguably its most famous menu item, Starbucks is rolling out six new fan flavours of the blended Frappuccino, in one single day.

The dessert-themed flavours were some of the most popular Frappuccino flavour combinations created by their own customers and fans, and were all also inspired by them. These new beverages are grouping under the "Fan Flavour Frappuccinos" umbrella and include Red Velvet Cake, Cupcake, Cotton Candy, Cinnamon Roll, Lemon Bar and Caramel Cocoa Cluster.

All of them blended with milk, ice and topped with whipped cream; being Cotton Candy and Lemon Bar flavours coffee-free and Lemon Bar Frappuccino the lowest-calorie option.

The famous frozen coffee drink have been available in US since 1995, with only two flavours back then: coffee and mocha.

Customers will be encouraged to vote for their favourite "Fan Flavour Frappuccinos" starting June 19 through June 30, on Frappuccino.com/flavors, to be included permanently into the coffee chain's menu. Fans will also be able to express their support on social media using hashtags naming their favourite Frappucino, like #TeamCinnamonRoll.

Starbucks will announce the winning flavour on social media July 3rd, and over July 4th weekend, that Frappuccino will be available for $1,94 for a grande size.

All of the "Fan Flavour Frappuccinos" will be available after the contest ends.

In a statement, Renee Jones, marketing director at Starbucks, said that in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Frappuccino and the thousands of flavour combinations created by their enthusiastic customers the company is excited to introduce 6 Fan Flavour Frappuccino beverages.

Over the years the brand have seen many creative recipes from its customers and the six "Fan Flavour Frappuccino" beverages featured in the Flav-Off contest represent a few of the most popular recipes.
