Created after the worldwide cult TV Series "Breaking Bad", the North American distillery Blue Ice Vodka teamed up with Sony Pictures Television to launch a limited edition line of vodka called "Heisenberg".

In "Breaking Bad" Walter White, aka Heisenberg, is a struggling high school chemistry teacher diagnosed with lung cancer, who together with his former student Jesse Pinkman, turns to a life of crime, producing and selling crystallised methamphetamine (crystal meth) to secure his family's financial future after he is gone. His personal touch to those drugs is a blue tinted-meth, just like the three limited-edition Blue Ice Vodka bottles, which also features a silhouette of Walter White in his fedora hat and glasses.

Each collectible bottle has different iconic quotes from the infamous character, famous lines from the series, such as "Say My Name", "The One Who Knocks" and "Tread Lightly".

"Heisenberg" is a Breaking Bad themed vodka that instead of the high synthetic drug of Walter White is characterised by a particular special formula, with Blue Ice's non-GMO (Genetically Modified Organisms) ingredients. The recipe combines natural elements, a special distillation method and a five-stage filtration system.

Vince Gilligan, executive producer and creator of "Breaking Bad" said in a statement that The Dude had his White Russians, the Blue Brothers had their Night Train, and now Heisenberg has his very own Blue Ice Vodka.

He also said that he is counting on fans to use it in the creation of a great many delicious cocktails.

Also Thomas Gibson, president of 21st Century Spirits, said that the company is extremely proud of his collaboration between one of the finest shows on television and their best in class Blue Ice Vodka. Their desire for the "perfect batch" of vodka mirrors the unyielding commitment to quality exhibited by both the series and the notorious Heisenberg.

The Heisenberg vodka retails online for $17 a bottle and is scheduled to appear in stores in US this summer.
