Pakistan and New Zealand to tussle up in Dubai

Pakistan is currently placed at the no.1 position in the T20I rankings and they have proved why they are such a successful side with their resilient performances over a course of time.

The narrow win in the first game helped them extend an unbeaten streak of eight games now.

With another win in the second game, they would secure their 11th series in T20Is on the trot. According to ESPN Cricinfo, Pakistan is not likely to tinker with their winning combination. Shaheen Afridi was selected ahead of Usman Khan in the side, and the decision went well as far as the side is concerned.

Fakhar Zaman might return if he is announced fully fit in time.

New Zealand played some solid cricket in the first game proving that they will present more challenges in front of Pakistan than Australia did.

The two-run loss must have broken their hearts, but with the series on the line, they should be geared up for another tight game. Like Pakistan, New Zealand is expected to not change much to their side keeping it the same. Even though they have Seth Rance in the mix, ESPNCricinfo predicts that Colin de Grandhomme and Corey Anderson will be selected in the XI because of their experience.

The weather in Dubai is similar to what it was during the Australia and Pakistan series, hot and dry. The players will have to tackle that, and the slow nature of the wicket. Runs won't be easy to come by but once a batsman is set, he should look to score big.
