La Liga side Real Madrid is looking at the potential signing of Liverpool top-scorer Mohamed Salah as he continues to impress in the Premier League for the Reds.
Real Madrid's interest in Salah
The Egyptian striker has been in incredible form for Liverpool so far this season following his £34m move from AS Roma - he's managed to bag himself 18 goals in 24 appearances for Jurgen Klopp - thus sparking interest from top clubs around Europe and none more so than Zinedine Zidane's Real Madrid.
Salah's international manager, Hector Cuper, according to the Mirror, has revealed Madrid are showing a strong desire to sign the pacey forward - despite signing for Liverpool a few months ago.
Cuper insists he received "confirmation" of the "interest" from Real Madrid but was quick to underline the 'amazing position' Salah is currently in.
Salah's impressive form
The 25-year-old was on the Liverpool radar for quite some time after some superb displays in European competitions against the Merseyside club. However, Chelsea beat Liverpool to the punch and managed to lure the Basel winger to Stamford Bridge, he was then sold fairly quickly to Fiorentina after under-performing for the Blues - a good spell in Serie A led to a big move to League rivals Roma - a club in which he continued to shine.
With the effect Salah has had on the field for Liverpool this season, it's highly unlikely manager Jurgen Klopp will let the Egyptian leave so soon.
He's currently the Premier League's top-goalscorer with 12 goals in just 15 games and his ability to link up with the likes of Roberto Firmino, Sadio Mane and Philippe Countiho is extraordinary to watch.
Klopp's men are clearly struggling in defence so far this season with a desperate need for a solid centre-back and a goalkeeper who boasts confidence - it's left to the forwards to outscore the opponents each week.
Salah, Firmino, Mane and Coutinho all play a huge role in the squad and are vital to Klopp and the club's success moving forward.
Coutinho exit?
Coutinho has been - and still is - heavily linked with a move to Barcelona. He showed the desire to leave Anfield at the end of last season but several rejected bids from Liverpool kept Coutinho in the Premier League.
Klopp will do everything he can to keep the play-maker at the club but nothing is set in stone. So, with Coutinho possibly switching Anfield for the Camp Nou, Klopp will surely issue a huge hands-off warning in regards to Mohamed Salah.
