NBA fans are preparing the countdown, but not for Christmas day. That's for everybody; Cavs vs Warriors is for all international sports fans. This is a clash of the titans, the first time that this two teams face after NBA Finals, or better still, the most incredible Finals in the history of NBA: it never happened that one team, below in the serie 3-1, could perform a comeback and win the title. That miracle overturned the hierarchies at the highest levels in the championship: Curry, the superstar of NBA regular season, was a close step far from the paradise, but he hadn't settled up with the other face of these Finals; Lebron James, with three superlative performances, led Cavs to recovery and blocked out "Chef Curry" as the greatest player on the planet.
Warriors' revenge is based on the same roster, but with one addition
Adding Kevin Durant to the roster, Warriors built one of the strongest team in the last years: with two deadly shooters as Curry and Thompson and one all-around aggressive player as Green, the Oakland's team is the first constestant to the title. Comparing the way of playing of this year with the previous season, the integration of the superstar ex-Thunder has been essential until now: defensively the team allows something more, but offensively they are devastating, not only in the teamwork, but also in concreteness, dynamism and athleticism. This point must be taken advantage of from the Steve Kerr's system to win the first battle of the season.
Lebron wants to demonstrate to be again the King; Irving and Love could be the surprise
Some of the key players of the last season left: DellaVedova and Mozgov transfered to Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers and Mo Williams retired. Nevertheless, the base of the successful workforce is the same, with the magic trio James-Irving-Love: "Beach Boy" is, for sure, the most improved in this triumvirate, not only in the stats, but also in the team background where he's proving to be the superstar rarely seen last season.
"Uncle Drew" is competing for his best scoring season and keeping his playmaking skills, but the eyes are all focused on "The Chosen One" because his perfomance will determine the trend game.
When the going gets tough, the tough get going. Cavs-Warriors: NBA Christmas is coming!
