We are almost in the middle of September and it's a magic period for Television: our beloved TV Series are coming back for a whole new season. We have already discussed about all the new TV Shows that are waiting to get started, now it's the turn of the old ones.

It all starts on Wednesday, September 14: at 10 p.m.  Blindspot returns on NBC with its second season. The network will air the first episode of season two after The Voice, in order to give to the show a push.

On Sunday September 18th at 8 ABC will host the 68th annual Primetime Emmys. We will get to know all the winners between the exciting nominations of this year’s Emmys. ( Emmys’ voters remember: The Americans must win)

Like I have already said, monday, September 19 can be considered as TV’s new year’s eve: at 8 The Big Bang Theory and Gotham return and at 9 p.m. Lucifer starts its second season on Fox.  Gotham will include various new villains, and it’s getting a darker vibe. Lucifer will introduce the mother of all the Evil.  

On tuesday, September 20 at 8  NCIS returns to CBS with its fourteen season, at 8.30 Brooklyn Nine-Nine begins on Fox, followed by the sixth season of New Girl.

At 9 Ryan Murphy’s Scream Queens starts its second season on Fox. Colton Haynes will guest star. At 10 p.m. Agents of SHIELD begins its fourth cycle introducing a famous character: Ghost Rider.  CBS will welcome also a new season of NCIS: New Orleans.

On Wednesday, September 21 at 8 The Goldbergs returns on ABC and Blindspot settles in its ordinary slot. At 9 p.m. mega hits Modern Family, Empire and  Law & Order: SVU will take their slot (and kingdoms) back. At  9:30p.m. we have Black-ish and at 10 p.m. Chicago PD, which is one of the two spin-off of the Dick Wolf’s Chicago Fire. NBC will have its typical Dick Wolf’s night. Empire will include flashbacks of a young Cookie and Lucious. 

On Thursday, September 22  Shonda Rhimes’ TV shows come back: at 8 p.m. Grey’s Anatomy returns with its thirteen season and at 10 p.m.

 How to Get Away with Murder starts its third. There will be space also for Rosewood and America Ferrera’s Superstore on NBC. At 10, Chicago Med begins, followed by Spader’s The Blacklist. How To Get Away with Murder will likely entertain us the most, and it’s getting ready for new crazy plot twists. If you have a look at the trailer, you will notice that Viola Davis’ Annalise just can’t catch a break and we can’t wait to find out why.

On Friday, September 23 at  8 we have Last Man Standing, followed by Dr. Ken on ABC. At 9 p.m., CBS' Hawaii Five-0 begins along with Blue Bloods. 

On Sunday, September 25 at 8 Once Upon a Time returns and The Simpsons starts. There will be space also for the much anticipated second season of Secrets and Lies at 9 p.m.

,  Fox’s The Last Man on Earth at 9.30 and at 10  the spy show Quantico. Once Upon a Time will introduce Aladdin and Agrabah.

On Wednesday, September 28  Criminal Minds returns after a terrible loss in the cast (Shemar Moore has exited), followed by a kind-of- rebooted Code Black that will introduce Rob Lowe as main protagonists.
