We are approaching the May’s Upfronts which is an event that can be considered as the turning point of the current TV season. FOX, CBS, ABC, NBC, and The CW decide which TV Series they want to renew and which they want to cancel. Let’s see what are the stakes, which Show has been renewed and which has been cancelled.

FOX:

the TV Network has renewed various shows. Empire, Bones, Gotham, New Girl, Lucifer, Rosewood, Brooklyn 9-9. Last Man on Earth will return next season. Minority Report has been cancelled. There are no certainties about Sleepy Hollow.

Insiders say that it will likely be renewed, but for now no decision has been made.

The CW:

They have renewed all their line-up. The Flash, Supernatural, Arrow, The Originals, The Vampire Diaries, Legends of Tomorrow, iZombie, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, The 100, and Reign will return next season. Only Containment’s fate remains uncertain. Beauty and the Beast’s fourth season will be the last. Mark Pedowitz has opted for maintaining the whole line-up, which has been praised by critics and Awards and has been stable rating-wise.

ABC:

The Disney-owned network has renewed various veteran and freshmen shows. Quantico, Once Upon a Time, Grey’s Anatomy, How to Get Away with Murder, Scandal, Shark Tank, Black-ish, Marvel’s Agents of SHIELD, The Middle, Modern Family, The Goldbergs and Fresh Off Boat.

There's still no news on the critical darling American Crime, Marvel’s Agent Carter, Galavant, and The Family.

CBS:

The network has renewed 2 Broke Girls, The Amazing Race, Blue Bloods, Elementary, Madam Secretary, Hawaii Five-0, Mom, NCIS: Los Angeles, NCIS: New Orleans, Big Bang Theory, Criminal Minds NCIS and Scorpion. There no news about Limitless, Supergirl, Code Black Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders and CSI: Cyber.

There are rumours that the Greg Berlanti show could move to the CW.

NBC:

The peacock network has renewed Grimm, Chicago Med, Chicago Fire, Chicago PD, Law & Order: SVU, Blindspot, The Blacklist. All the Dick Wolf shows have been renewed and the network is developing a new Chicago spinoff, adding a law-oriented show in the franchise and a new Law & Order.

Heroes Reborn and AD: The Bible continues have been cancelled. There no news on The Carmichael Show, Heartbeat, Game of Silence, and Crowded. The former will likely be renewed, the others will likely be cancelled.
