This Saturday, David Ayer, director of Suicide Squad, surprised fans at Comic-Con International: San Diego Hall H with the first trailer of the upcoming supervillain new movie from Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. The trailer wasn't the only surprise since the cast already showed up. Despite being shoot in Toronto, Canada, only a day earlier, the cast appeared to spend about three hours on the ground and to make an appearance that lasted under 15 minutes. Alongside with David, the panel included Will Smith, Jai Courtney, Joel Kinnaman, Margot Robbie, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis, among others.

David said to the panel: "All this good vs. evil shit is played out. It's time for bad versus evil".

The first trailer included a first look at Will Smith's Deadshot character as well as Jared Leto's The Joker. While Jared did not appear, the star's version of The Joker did feature in the teaser.

The footage opened with Viola Davis as Amanda Waller at a dinner with military officers explaining her goals to bring together the worst of the worst, before getting into various shots of the team members in action. Concluded with a shot of a shirtless The Joker, Leto's villain, leering into the camera and saying: "I'm not going to kill you, I'm just going to hurt you really really bad".

The rest of the cast is going to be introduced by August 5.

Suicide Squad is directed and written by David Ayer and will star Jared Leto as The Joker, Will Smith as Deadshot, Jay Courtney as Captain Boomerang, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flag, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Jay Hernandez as El Diablo, Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, to name some.

Filming began on April 13, 2015, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

The Suicide Squad is an antihero team of imprisoned supervillains who perform high-risk black ops missions for the United States of America government, in exchange for clemency. They are formally known as Task Force X. The team operates under the command of Amanda Waller. who runs the organization out of the Belle Reve Penitentiary.
