In the last weeks The Vampire Diaries cast were the headlines of every news. Nina Dobrev leaving the show while Ian Somerhalder prepared for his wedding with Nikki Reed made everyone gossip around these topics.
Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev formed a couple during the 1st seasons of the CW tv series, but exactly when their characters started dating, in real life they broke up. Fans thought that the age gap between them was the reason of the break-up but deep down every Delena fan (a combination between their fictional names) hoped for their love to sparkle again off-screen.
But the 36-year-old Vampire Diaries hunk found himself another pretty woman vampire. The 26-year-old actress, Nikki Reed who acted in Twilight has become nine months ago his girlfriend and four months ago his fiancé. On Sunday 26, they celebrated the most beautiful day of their lives, their wedding. The former Lost actor even wrote on this twitter account "most beautiful morning ever…"
Even if the fans are gasping in front of the monitors because they hoped for Nina Dobrev to become Ian's beautiful wife, Nikki Reed is also a young beautiful actress which makes the bad mouth of the world wonder: was really the age gap the reason between Ian and Nina split?
It was obvious for everyone that the chemistry between Nina and Ian was cute off-screen, even when they weren't a couple anymore.
But the chemistry between him and Nikki made even the cast to envy them, maybe their love for animals bonded them the best. The co-star Kat Graham said that they are "soul mates". She said: "I haven't met two people who were more of soul mates than those guys. They are so absolutely amazing. Everyone loves them, and I really can't imagine him with anyone else."
While for Nikki this is the 2nd marriage, as she was married to the singer-songwriter Paul McDonald, for Ian is the 1st marriage.
For the ceremony both of them were in white. Nikki wore a long-sleeved dress with lace details and Ian wore a white suit which brings the best with his big beautiful blue eyes.
The paparazzi couldn't make lots of moves because until now the public eye only knows that it was a ceremony filled with great beautiful actors, a bride and a groom in white in Ian's hometown, Louisiana.
