Donald trump's 10-year-old youngest son, Barron was repeatedly mocked on the Internet because of the "weird behaviour" at the father’s inauguration. He was called a "vampire", "freak" and "Joffrey Baratheon" (referring to the negative character of "Game of Thrones") Other users, on the other hand, stood up for the child: a tweet with a call to leave him alone got two million likes.

As was recently reported: at the inauguration ceremony, Donald Trump's younger son - Barron behaved unusually. A 10-year-old boy, as many claimed, could not concentrate, affectedly smiled and refused to give a mother a high five.

In Twitter, you can find many jokes about the "odd boy". Users wrote that he looked even bigger freak than his father and compared with Joffrey Baratheon, and was named a "vampire" because of his pallor. Others argued that he looked as if he had to be a rapist.

'SNL' screenwriter suspended indefinitely for tweet mocking Barron Trump

A writer of Saturday Night Live, Rich Kathy joked about Barron’s home education. The joke was that "Barron Trump will be America's 'first homeschool shooter". For such an inappropriate joke, Rich was suspended from work on the NBC television channel, where Saturday Night Live is airing. On Monday, a screenwriter apologised for the initial post, calling it “insensitive.” “I deeply regret my actions and offensive words.

It was inexcusable & I'm so sorry,” said Rich.

Other users stood on Barron's right side. Bill Clinton's daughter Chelsea (whose father became president, when she was 13 years old) wrote that Barron, like all children, have the right to behave like a child. However, the most popular post in defence of Barron Trump is Melissa Ernst's support.

"Long before his father, President Donald J Trump, was sworn in - this child became the centre of hateful online attacks. From a certain celebrity attempting to diagnose him with a neurological disorder with her degree from 'The University of Google' to now, when a writer from Saturday Night Live decided to tweet saying that he would be the 'first homeschool shooter'."

"Today, when you put your children to sleep, look into their eyes and ask yourself: "Shall I treat him like I would have treated my child," whether you like or do not like Trump...

Barron is only ten years old, and words can hurt him." Also, she added: "He is to be respected and he is off limits!"

This event just shows our modern web society that is dictated by social networks, where there are arbitrariness and impunity; cruel virtual reality, where everyone is entitled to impose and propagate their opinions, and according to their beliefs - which do not bear a negative attitude and immediate impact.
