Here we go! It's that time of the year where most of us telly addicts get the pleasure of watching famous TV personalities swap their lavish lifestyles to head down under into the Jungle to battle it out to become either king or queen of the jungle.
The jungle is back once again
As for most people's predictions for the new series which kicked off yesterday evening (Sunday), do we think this year's lineup is strong enough to keep viewers hooked? As I'm not entirely sure, it's still very early days to predict whether the show's going to pull it out of the bag or not.
Presenting duo, Ant and Dec seem to be the only real stars of the show with their striking sense of humour and big personalities.
The jungle seems to lack fresh faces this year and needs to consist of some more younger stars for the newer and younger generation. What happened to TOWIE and Geordie Shore stars getting signed to appear? Although there has to be a mixture of various ages to suit all viewers, we need a young, fresh and lively bunch of youngsters to entertain us all and keep us glued.
Who is who?
When hearing that Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt was in the lineup, I knew she would bring the entertainment to the camp from day 1 with her don't give a sh**, laid back attitude. I think people will really like her and she will be another Vicky Pattison that will be a success after the show and go on to win it.
Who the hell is Lisa Snowdon? By the looks of it, I reckon she's going to be a potential bi*** of the camp and bring the bitchiness in. Ex footballer Wayne Bridge may look like a tough, strong guy but I reckon he's going to struggle with the bushtucker trials as he mentioned his fear of most things. I sure know who will be the mother of all hens.
Of course it will be Carol Volderman. A successful, hardworking woman who will play the motherly figure role.
Are there even in eye candy in this year's camp? I can't see anyone, apart from professional dancer, Ola Jordan for the men's eyesight or Adam Thomas being the one for the women's eyes. As like every year, there's always a jungle romance but the odds of this series isn't looking good as the majority of these celebs already have partners on the outside.
Although I'm trying my best to follow this series without suffering from serious boredom, my potential favourites to win this year will most likely be Scarlett or Joel. The only two campmates who look set to bring pure TV gold to the show. But who knows? My opinion might change next week...
