Anyone visiting Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in New York City recently had the chance of a lifetime. Thanks to Jimmy Fallon, fans got to be pranked by most of the cast of “Stranger Things.” The guys and gals pretended to be wax figures to surprise fans as part of an appearance on “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.”

As noted by Hypebeast, while British fans missed out on the chance to be pranked in New York, there will be a related arcade popping up in London shortly, just to keep things sort of fair in the run-up to season 3 of "Stranger Things."

Jimmy Fallon and the ‘Stranger Things’ cast prank fans

The prank aired on the “Tonight Show” on Wednesday this week, where Jimmy Fallon had a lot of fun with Millie Bobby Brown, Noah Schnapp, Finn Wolfhard, Caleb MacLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, and Sadie Sink.

A convincing set was laid at Madame Tussauds Wax Museum in Times Square in New York City, ready for the prank to begin.

Entertainment Weekly reported that as the cast stood still, posing as wax figures, unsuspecting fans came along and wanted photos taken with the “Stranger Things” “models” in the background. As they posed, the cast magically moved, giving the fans a huge shock. Fallon posed as Barb, naturally keeping his face to the back of the set so as not to give things away. See the fun in the video below.

Coca-Cola pop-up arcade in London

Due to the huge popularity of “Stranger Things,” there has been a lot of collaboration with various companies like Levi’s and Coca-Cola. The latter is setting up a pop-up arcade in London to celebrate the launch of season 3 of the popular show.

The arcade will take visitors back to 1985 and the mysteries of the Upside Down world.

The event will be held in Shoreditch in East London and will come complete with a games arcade of typical 80s games, including “Dragon’s Lair,” the game featured in the show itself. There will also be an Upside-Down themed room, only for those who have a “keen “Stranger Things” eye.”

On top of all this, the first 800 fans will also receive a limited edition can of Coca-Cola, emblazoned with a flipped logo design.

This is due to the fact that the company launched “New Coke” in 1985, the same year in which “Stranger Things” is set and a fact that has reportedly been woven into the story of season 3.

The Coca-Cola “Stranger Things” pop-up arcade will be available to the public for free for just one day – 11 July 2019, from 11 am to 9 pm.

Be there, or be square. The address is as follows: Hawkins Palace Arcade, Shop 4, Brick Lane, Spitalfields, London, E1 6QR.

Just in case you haven’t already seen it, the latest trailer for “Stranger Things” season 3 is included here. Watch season 3 on Netflix from 4 July.
