Fans of the Film “Pulp Fiction” will do doubt remember Samuel L. Jackson’s character in the famous hamburger interrogation scene. Many people have watched Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s testimony in the Senate hearing, following the testimony of Dr. Christine Blasey Ford.
Someone obviously clearly remembered the "Pulp Fiction" scene as they have now created a mash-up of that film scene with Kavanaugh’s testimony.
Even Jackson himself approves of the resulting video clip.
Kavanaugh/Pulp Fiction mash-up
It was Elara Pictures, a production company, that produced the bizarre video and posted it online, where it has since gone viral. The clip shows Samuel L. Jackson In the hamburger interrogation scene in “Pulp Fiction” mixed cleverly with the testimony of Brett Kavanaugh.
Kavanaugh is US President Donald Trump’s Supreme Court pick but has been hit with sexual assault claims by Dr. Christine Blasey Ford, who claims he sexually assaulted her during high school at a 1982 party.
As reported by Indy100, the mash-up video begins with Jackson’s character saying to Kavanaugh, “Let me take a wild guess here, you’re Brett, right, to which the Supreme Court nominee responds in the affirmative.
Among other things, Kavanaugh said during the hearing that he had worked hard to get into Yale Law School. As he points out this was the best law school in the US. This was cleverly cut to Jackson’s character exclaiming about Brett having a big brain. As Kavanaugh continues, the actor's character refers to him as a “smart motherf**ker.”
Kavanaugh mentions that he drank beer, lots of beer, to which Jackson asks if he could have some of his “tasty beverage” to wash things down. As Kavanaugh continues to deny sexually assaulting anyone, Jackson’s character says “Yes, you did.”
As Senator Lindsey Graham speaks up, supporting Kavanaugh by saying how nice, warm and unassuming he is, the “Pulp Fiction” character exclaims that he didn’t remember asking him a goddamn thing.
‘Pulp Fiction’ star Samuel L. Jackson approves the video
When Samuel L. Jackson saw the video, he immediately shared it on Twitter, saying it was “funny as hell,” but adding that there is nothing funny about his “Lying Fratboy Ass.” That tweet has now been received more than 400,000 likes and has been retweeted 114,217 times as the time of writing. Meanwhile, the original video itself has around 8,000,000 views.
As reported by Comic Book/Marvel, Jackson recently made a return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe in the role of Nick Fury in the film “Avengers: Infinity War.” The last time he starred in one was in “Avengers: Age of Ultron” in 2015. Jackson will also be seen in “Captain Marvel” in March next year.
