Hollywood star, Priyanka Chopra has left Salman Khan Starrer, “Bharat.” Ali Abbas Zafar announced this news on Twitter. The story has been diced, and as the adage goes, the semantic hair split to understand why the Quantico star took such an extreme decision.
Not paid the price Priyanka asked
Priyanka is a big star now, and the producers may not have understood this fact. They were dishing out the same peanut which was angrily refused by Priyanka.
Priyanka is commanding a handsome price for the Quantico serial in the West and took it as an insult. Priyanka was also not happy with the coverage which she was getting in the Film.
Is Priyanka getting engaged?
Another factor which was being touted as a reason for Priyanka leaving the project could be her engagement with international pop sensation Nick Jonas. However, this seems unlikely since the actress is a thorough professional. Remember how she joined shooting a few days after her father’s death. Priyanka was very close to her father and still put on a brave face and concluded her assignments.
Old friend Katrina to replace Priyanka
The friendship between Katrina and Salman Khan is well known, and this time also it seems she has come to the rescue. According to a Mumbai Mirror report, “Chikni Chameli” will replace Priyanka in “Bharat.”
This has been confirmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, director, who said that he is pleased to work with Katrina and Salman Khan once again. He added that Latrina had been signed in the “NICK” of the time. The sign given by Ali is far too evident!!
“Bharat” is a period film and will see Salman playing the role of a person in five different get-ups spread across a period of sixty years. The first will see Salman playing the role of a teenager. It will be fun to see Salman re-enacting his role in “Maine Pyar Kiya.”
